Family photo sessions are all about capturing genuine moments with the ones you love: relaxed, joyous, intimate and enduring.

And that’s exactly what we’ll do.

Now, let’s discuss a few details ahead of time so that you can focus on what really matters – having a great time during your photo session!

Session Details

Every family photo and engagement session comes with professionally edited images, a private online viewing gallery, and a photo release to print your photos. I will be your photographer and photo retoucher, which means your photos will never be sent to an outside agency to be edited by someone you have never met.

Sessions take place on-location at an outdoor destination, your home, or similar venue that we will choose together.

Packages & Pricing

A session planning fee of $50 is required to book your session and confirm your date. Then, choose from the options below:

Standard Package – $150
  • 1-hour session
  • 20 professionally edited digital files
  • A print release for personal use
Deluxe Package – $250
  • 2-hour session
  • 40 professionally edited digital files
  • A print release for personal use

FAQs

WHAT TO WEAR?

The goal isn’t necessarily for everyone to match – but to be complimentary.  Start with a base of neutral colors and build from there.  This is a great time to use layers or accessories to add pop to your outfit, while letting you shine through.

WHAT NOT TO WEAR?

Most of all – anything that you’re not comfortable in. If you’re fighting with your outfit you won’t be having a good time! 

HOW DO I RESERVE MY DATE?

After we’ve spoken and confirmed that your date is available, a $50 (non-refundable) session fee is required to secure that date.  This guarantees no other client can be booked during that time and also covers the upfront time spent planning for your photo shoot.

WHEN AND HOW DO I PAY?

Once you’ve selected a package option, that amount will be due within 7 days of your session.  You are welcome to pay the entire package amount up front or split it into multiple payments. Payments can be made by cash or credit card.

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED?

Packages are designed for up to 6 family members. If your event is a reunion or other large gathering, let me know that up front so proper planning can be discussed.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CHANGE MY DATE?

Things do come up, so if you need to move your date, every effort will be made to reschedule your session as soon as possible. In the event of a no-show on the day of the session, the opportunity to reschedule may be forfeited.

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?

Outdoor photo sessions are certainly subject to the weather. If it’s raining the morning of your session we’ll reschedule as soon as possible.  If it’s cloudy or overcast we’ll continue forward with the session. In fact, clouds help create soft light which is always a good thing!

DO YOU INCLUDE “RAW” FILES?

I do not release “raw” files or negatives. After our session I will review the images and remove those with closed eyes, distractions, etc. You will then receive a link to an online gallery including all of the final images from which to choose from.
